An exhibition of approximately 60 works created by the faculty and staff of the Department of Photography and Imaging in the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts will go on view September 5, 2006. The show comprises a wide range of perspectives and media, including but not limited to traditional black-and-white and color photographs, publications, net art, video, painting, and multi-media installations. The exhibition explores contemporary images and themes related to family, abstract nature, fantasy, inter-plays with light, childhood memory and journalistic views of Hurricane Katrina.
