The Department of Photography & Imaging at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts is pleased to host “The Pin Up Show” a salon-style exhibition which presents the work of over sixty alumni spanning two decades. Photographs, video, mixed media, and web work will highlight a varied and exciting range of accomplishments of the alumni and the wide range of careers pursued.
The informal nature of this project, which began as an open call for submissions, has been an exciting process. “We are delighted by the range and quality of the work we have received for this exhibition. It is especially exciting to have alumni back in the department to share their projects and experiences with our current students and faculty”, says Lorie Novak, Chair of the Department. The exhibition was organized by faculty member Mark Jenkinson and Technical Director Karl Peterson.
There will be a reception September 15, from 6 – 8 PM. The exhibition will remain on view through October 9th in Tisch School’s 8th floor gallery. Gallery hours are 10 am through 7 pm weekdays, and noon to 5 pm Saturdays. Admission is free. Photo ID is required. For further information, call 212.998.1930.
